But my greatest fear is for our country. There are two sayings that come to mind. One, "be careful what you wish for ...
you just might get it" and "the people get the government they deserve."
It is going to be a long four years with this new administration. Beyond bailouts, which I am totally opposed to, (no one even
mentions the subprime mortgage mess anymore!), now we are having "czars" who will be running industry, and the Cabinet is a bunch
of retreads who have already shown their true abilities. Imagine, Tom Daschle as Health Czar? Unbelievable!
I'm sorry to say it but our country is due for a major "reset." Everything is chaos. There is no leadership, only self promoting,
power hungry ignoramus' while republicans think they are playing by some set of rules that will bring them honor and make them dignified.
They need to be playing hit & run politics like the dem's do. No Mr. Nice Guy. Just kick ass. Attack everything. Shoot first, ask questions later.
Is anyone going to pay for the Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae mess? Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Franklin Raines, et al.? Not a chance.
I think it is time for the Punisher to make an appearance and clean up some of these messes while putting the fear of God into the rest.
Anyway, I am glad not to be living in California any longer. That place is really a mess. I don't know why the Governator isn't being
recalled. He has made a bigger mess than Gray Davis did. But again, whatever the people want, if the courts don't overrule it, that is.
